    Print Head Maintenance

    After the printer has been used for a period of time, if the print is unclear or shows white vertical lines, the print head may be dirty and require cleaning. Follow the steps below:

    1. Turn off the printer power.

    2. Insert the AC power cord plug into the power outlet.

    3. Remove the foil and locate the black part of the print head.

    4. Use a cotton swab or lint-free cloth dipped in 99% pure alcohol to wipe all printing dots on the print head from one end to the other in a single direction. If the cotton or cloth shows significant dirt, repeat with a fresh cotton swab or lint-free cloth dipped in 99% pure alcohol, wiping all printing dots from end to end.

    5. After the alcohol has completely evaporated, reinstall the foil.

    6. Reconnect the power and perform a test print.

    ✧ The print head should generally be maintained once a week. If the printing workload is heavy, perform maintenance on the print head daily.

    If cleaning the print head does not resolve the issue, the problem may be localized damage to the print head caused by prolonged high-temperature operation or high-speed wear. In this case, the print head will need to be replaced.
